PULSE Foundation is a non-governmental organization founded in 1999 that offers legal and psychological consultations to victims of domestic violence, human trafficking or other forms of abuse, vulnerable families and persons as well as people suffering from depression. It promotes public understanding and develops projects that address violence/ abuse prevention, access to healthcare and informal education.

Activities

  • Psychosocial care for people affected by domestic violence, sexual violence and / or human trafficking, as well as psychosocial care for children and young people who have survived violence
  • Providing legal assistance to survivors, legal representation in lawsuits related to domestic violence
  • Crisis center for victims of violence, offering individual support, legal advice or socio-psychological assistance where immediate intervention is required, including through mobile crisis intervention teams.
  • Prevention of violence through non-formal education and training in specific skills
  • Prevention of tuberculosis under the program Improving the Sustainability of the National Tuberculosis Program, which includes direct support to vulnerable groups to reduce the spread of tuberculosis
  • Trainings for students and young people to raise their awareness and learn to identify forms of violence, support their peers and guide them to the appropriate services
  • Training of parents on the healthy development of the child
