To what extent should your privacy be respected during arrest?

During your arrest, the police might take photos or videos of you to register your arrest or to carry out the investigation. These photos and videos must not be published in the media or elsewhere without your permission. The only exception is if these photos or videos can help to investigate a crime.

What human rights violation may there be?

If the police publish your photos or videos without your permission and if it was not needed to investigate the crime, it may result in a violation of your right to private life.
